WORK EXPERIENCE

L&T Health And Fitness, Falls Church, VA
Program Manager, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Fitness Center, October 2001 - present. Oversee day to day operations of on-property government fitness facility with over 500 members. Develop marketing materials to promote the fitness center to other federal workers in surrounding buildings to increase membership. Create incentive programs to keep current membership motivated about fitness and informed about health issues. Served as liaison between L&T and Board of Directors for site. Responsible for hiring new fitness staff

Site Supervisor, Department of Education Fitness Facility, May 2001 - October 2001. Oversaw day to day operations of on-property corporate fitness facility with over 1200 members. Ensured all membership records, accounts, and statistics are up-to-date and in order. Evaluated and supervised other staff persons. Served as liaison between L&T and Board of Directors for site. Maintained group exercise schedules and employee schedules. Submitted weekly reports on group exercise, personal training and other wellness services.

Sr. Fitness Specialist, Various Corporate Sites, December 2000 - May 2001. Assisted in all day to day operations of the facility. Coordinated special events, recreational activities, and company functions. Developed and administered incentive programs to increase membership and support participation. Exercise supervision, programming, fitness testing and facility orientations. Taught group exercise classes such as "Abs, Butt, and Thigh", "Body Sculpt", and "Abs".

Created various fitness programs for average clients to athletes, to those with special needs; elderly, HIV+, and women with Post Menopausal Osteoporosis. Required thorough knowledge of the client's hardware acquisition process, from request for quote to receipt of invoice. Kept client informed of changes in technology, price fluctuations, and product availability. Coordinated product briefings for client with Compaq, Hewlett Packard, and IBM regional managers. Synchronized client's Lotus Notes Service Requests system with our internal sales and service systems.

On-Site at a major healthcare management company assisting with the purchase of computer hardware and software, as well as the dispatch of technicians for hardware service calls. Worked closely with executive information service officers, purchasing staff, and help desk employees. Advised client on moving to a PC standard for the entire organization. Developed standard PC templates for different work area scenarios.

On -Site Sales Support Representative, October 1997 - July 1998.
On-Site at major financial firm assisting purchasing department with implementation of computer hardware leasing. Productive counterpart to Team Leader offering consultative advice, updating purchasing catalog, researching new products as well as product upgrades and tracking and entering orders.
